Built in Cooksville, the Thomas Laird Kennedy Secondary School is a school located in Mississauga, Canada (currently Mississauga), Ontario, Ontario; which was erected in honour of Premier of Ontario Thomas Laird Kennedy. The school has successful basketball and cricket teams. The school has an extensive extracurricular program, including many athletic and sports teams & also specialized in art studies. 1953. Premier Thomas L. Kennedy had been a long time resident of Streetsville (now part of Mississauga), where he was Master of the River Park Masonic Lodge. students in Sept. T. L. Kennedy Secondary School first opened its doors to 450 approx. It's famous alumni includes: Rajesh Sharma ( politician ), filmmaker, writer, Tex Watt (actor, entertainer) & Ken Lashley (cartoonist).
